Display Stand

DISPLAY STAND For Marx-Sized Figurines This listing is for a Display Stand, designed to hold the 3 inch Marx President figurines of the 1950s and '60s. Tens of thousands of presidential figurines made by the Marx Toy Company were sold over the years.  T he last versions of those sets came with a 4-tiered Styrofoam "Reviewing Stand" designed to display the figurines.  This stand is made to look like that stand.  It is molded out of vacuum-formed plastic, is five-tiers, and can hold 45 figurines when the plastic pillars are in place.  When the pillars are removed, the stand can hold up to 49 figurines.  These stands are individually and sequentially numbered.  A listing photo shows an entire Marx President Set, from George Washington to Joe Biden, displayed on the stand .  [NOTE: THE FIGURINES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS LISTING.]  Another photo shows a 1970 advertisement from Parade Magazine featuring Marx's original "Handsome 'White House' Reviewing Stand."  Other listing photos show the dimensions of the stand.
